Hello, everyone!

Happy Monday! First of all, a quick reminder that the Pine Grove Mills farmer's market is each Thursday from 3-7. Set up a time with the shop, and then head over to the market to find fresh produce, and all kinds of fun things! The market will be every week through Sept. 26.

In the meantime, here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week! It's a day of vivid colors for all kinds of things!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

My buddy Barb Dann let me use her design wall to pull together the Tula Pink block of the month. Then she took a picture of me in full exuberance after it had all been plotted out! Perhaps I seem a bit crazed here, but ... I'm excited!

Inspired by a field of tulips in Holland, Christy made a quilt. Her quilt follows her photo of the flowers. How cool is this idea!

My friend Tracy took this remarkable photo of a grasshopper.

Guess how she did it? It was on the windshield of her car!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

We've talked to the hotel, and you now have until the end of July to sign up for our knitting retreat in Valley Forge. We're starting Friday night with dinner at Fogo de Chao, an amazing Brazilian restaurant. I've pre-tested the food for you. This is a photo of my plate from just one little trip to the salad bar.

If you haven't made the Pacific Coast Tour shawl, that is not a problem in the least. We'll happily keep you busy knitting all weekend!

Note that your cost includes everything except the hotel. We'll start Friday night, August 9, and run through Sunday morning the 11th. Plan a nice little getaway for yourself! Bring a friend--or come solo and meet new friends.
