Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

I'll be releasing Josué's Hat sometime this week. Be sure you're on my Really Clear mailing list to get more information. (I try not to duplicate my newsletters!)

Josué, who's my nephew, chose three colors of Rios and approved the concept, and then I got to work. When I gave it to him on Thanksgiving, the hat stayed on for the rest of the day. (Josué is clearly Knitworthy.) He also took these terrific photos.

(Now the other nephew wants one. You know how it goes.)

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Karen made this beautiful blanket/shawl out of Noro yarn for a friend whose husband is ill. She asked her friend's husband for words to describe his wife, and then she found charms with those words on them and attached them to the shawl. (See the little round gold charms in the photo?)

Knitting is comforting on so many levels. Thank you for sharing this, Karen.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I think we can all agree that cats are sculpture. I took this shot at a friend's house.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

The 2024 color of the year is peach. Did I have to scramble to find peach fabric or yarn at the shop? Nope, it was easy. We always have All the Colors.
