Quite the Opposite

Hello, Knitters!
It's spring, and despite how things look today, the weather is about to warm up just a bit. This is the perfect time to make an easy shawl--and we have a new shawl class coming up this Saturday. As long as you can cast on, knit, purl, and bind off, you can make this shawl. In the class, you'll learn a few other simple techniques to make this asymmetrical, wearable piece!
This is a wonderful class for a second or third knitting project, or just to have a relaxing day if you're more experienced.
The long stripes help you move quickly through this project--and it's always fun to play with color! You'll need sport or DK-weight yarn in either two solids or a solid and a variegated.
Stop by, and we'll find lots of beautiful yarn that will tempt you for this project: Malabrigo Arroyo (a wonderful hand paint), Noro Sonata (a textured cotton), and the list goes on.
Our wonderful teacher Anne Van Aelst will help you make quick success on this one.
The class is this Saturday, Feb. 19, from 2-4 p.m. on Zoom. (Live far away from Pine Grove Mills? Don't want to go out in the cold? No problem anymore!)
Sign up for the class now:
And then make an appointment to buy the yarn:
We'll look forward to seeing you!
