Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

I'm working on the spring newsletter. I thought it would be done today, but I can see now that this isn't going to happen. It should be ready in a day or two. I'll send out another quick email with the links and details when it's ready! I'm excited about our class offerings!

In the meantime, I just published the Wishing Hat. I have kits on the website, or you can come in and choose your own colors, or you can use scraps! (Do you have any Rios in your stash?)

My friend Alice showed me a super-easy way to make bobbles years ago, and I made use of her idea in this pattern. So. Much. Fun.

This hat is based on a drawing from an artist-friend, E.M. Corsa. I love her work! Be sure to check it out on Facebook and Etsy. She's a delightful person and wonderful artist.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I've always thought of cats as sculpture. This is a friend's cat, who even knew to sit on the perfect background colors.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

New yarn! This is Entropy DK. It does a stripe/fade--and just look at these gorgeous colors. Plus, the owner of the company, Lisa, is totally sweet, which is a bonus! Set up a time just to browse and look at all the colors!
