Hello, everyone!

Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

First, let me talk about my holiday schedule. I'm going to close at about 3:00 on the 23rd, and will be closed on the 24th and 25th. I'll see you on the 26th again!

Then the next week, I'll close at 3:00 on New Year's Eve, be closed on New Year's Day.

After that, life will return to normal, where I'll be in the shop from Monday through Saturday by appointment. You know what to do!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

I'm finally able to reveal my Winter Sparkles mystery hat. The pattern is, of course, still available. If you like beads, beads, and more beads, this is your project! The weather is perfect for it! I used Rios for mine. I want to make one in one of my kits, but I ran out and need to make more!!

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Bea made the best blanket ever. That is all.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

My friend Tina took a terrific photo of a toucan. I decided to try to draw it with watercolor pencils. It's certainly not going to be in a museum, but that wasn't my goal. I just wanted to have fun making it! I enjoyed playing with those awesome toucan colors.

Foreshadowing: I might have to design something with these colors, like the upcoming block of the month, which is going to be so sweet. Bring on the green, orange, pink, turquoise, and yellow! (Sorry, toucan friend, no black.) More about that in January!
