STITCH (What I've been working on)
Want an easy fingerless mitt that looks great? I suggest this Quick-Knit mitts pattern--just finished! My buddy Deb Kerr and I worked on the pattern together. It teaches new knitters how to knit, purl, do ribbing, and sew--lots of great skills. But if you're experienced, it's a perfect pattern for a quick gift. The yarn shown in the picture below is Malabrigo Rios in Whales Road--a perpetual favorite here at the shop! Click here to get the pattern:
YOUR (What you've been working on)
It's mitts day! Leslie made my Vitamin Z mittens years ago, and this year, she finally had to repair the thumbs! They still look great! I admit that this isn't one of my beginner patterns, like the one above, but with the two layers of yarn (one bulky, one worsted), they're toasty warm--perfect for this time of year.
