SYAO Creativity, the week of October 10, 2022

Hello, everyone!
Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world!
STITCH (What I've been working on)
I'm working on a second Andi's Halloween Adventure poncho. I've been secretly wearing my first one a lot! I had made the first one in purple, lime green, and orange. Now I'm using teal, golden orange, rust, and brown, with a few scraps thrown in for good measure. (I know what it looks like now, and where I can put them! Making something for a second time can be satisfying.)
I've been enjoying this mystery very much, and it's particularly been fun seeing others' color combos in my Ravelry group. (If you don't like turtlenecks, you can just make it shorter!) You don't need to make this as a mystery. You can just start now! I used Rios, but any worsted-weight yarn will be terrific.
YOUR (What you've been working on)
Ruth bowled me over with these two full-coverage cross-stitch pieces, each done on 25-count linen. Each one took years, as you can imagine.
ART (Inspired by art or nature)
Tracy Coan is an artist and creativity coach. She allowed me to share her current work, which is a series of stitch meditations. See more of her on Instagram @tracycoanart. I like the idea of meditating on stitching, rather just just trying to get something done.
OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)
Do we love these new Australian prints that just arrived?
As always, make an appointment to shop or browse, or just to show off your stuff! I can't wait to see you!
