Hello, everyone!
Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!
STITCH (What I've been working on)
We went to visit with Kevin's parents this weekend, so I took along some car/hang-out knitting. I took 5 projects along, not being certain of which I'd feel like working on.
It turned out that what I felt like was to begin a new project that was someone else's design. It's a bag that's made entirely of linen stitch. I have a few ideas for modifying it, of course! And I'm still trying to decide if I like the back or the front better. We'll see.
Here's my start. Let me know if you want the pattern. I can buy it for you on Ravelry. It's super easy, and you get to play with 5 colors of yarn! (I still am clearing to make way for fall and still have lots of yarn on sale for 75% off!)

I love Tricia's Triceratops Cowl. It's super cute! Want to make one? I'd appreciate it if you'd get the pattern from me rather than directly on Ravelry. It's easy to do that! ART (Inspired by art or nature)
I was near Madisonburg the other day. This farm was crazy beautiful, reminding me a little of a Hudson-river painting.
OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)
We just added a new class to the lineup! Hawaiian appliqué is so pretty, and this turtle would be great as either part of a bigger quilt, or maybe just as a pillow. Learn to do appliqué from Mary Beth, who's not only an expert, but a great teacher! She's planning to do an amazing Nutcracker quilt class this fall, and you'll want to take this one first, to get the basic technique down.
