Hello, everyone!

Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

A quick note that I have two Zoom meetings today, one at noon and one at 3:00. If you call and I don't answer, I'll give you a call back when the meetings are over. (The first call is the Local Yarn Store Day committee--so we're already planning for next year! Yay!)

Okay, back to our newsletter.

I made a Dresden plate along with the class I taught the other night. One of the students chose yellow for hers, and I copied ... ahem ... "was inspired by" her idea!

I still need to quilt and bind, but I'm pleased. How fun is that funky batik background?

I think this will be one of the retreat projects next April! The Dresden plate ruler is terrific. (I'm a ruler freak.)

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Darlene took a trip to Germany, and needed little travel projects. So she made a few Josue's Hats! I love her colors! Thanks for sending me these photos, Darlene.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

We were in a little neighborhood in Philadelphia Saturday night, and went to Tubby Robot ice cream. (Highly recommend!) I liked the tile picture behind the counter. We could make a Tubby Robot quilt if we wanted to sew together a lot of 1" squares! Which we do not!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Have you ever noticed the Gusto sock yarn? It does slow striping, and the best part is that the colors begin in the same spot, so that each sock will be roughly identical!

(Can something be imprecisely identical?)

As always, make an appointment to shop or browse, or just to show off your stuff! I can't wait to see you!
