What do beehives, soccer balls, nuts, and next Tuesday's class have in common?


If you guessed that they’re all based on hexagons, you’re correct! Hexagons are one of nature’s favorite building blocks, and they work spectacularly well as a fabric shape, too.


This class is for anyone, even if you’ve never done anything with fabric before. It’s all stitched by hand, so you don't need a sewing machine, and we assume that you know nothing for this class.


If you’ve always been drawn to fun fabrics, this is your class!


What do Hexagons look like?

You can either "fussy cut" the best parts of the fabrics for the centers....

Or you can do a classic Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt:

Mary Beth will give you ideas for making your hexies into projects, or will help you execute what you'd like to do
