Hello, everyone!

Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week! This week's theme is (mostly) green.

STITCH (What I've been working on)

I haven't had a chance to get much crafted this past week. I'm still running my sale, and today I've added more fabric and yarn to it! Set up a time to see

I probably won't have another sale for a year, so come in this month!

I'll be in Chicago this week at a wholesale market, getting new things (thus the awesome sales I've been having), and my helpers will be leaving at 3 each day (as will I, today, to get on the road). So know that to plan your trip here!

The construction seems to be about done as of last week. The no-parking cones have disappeared, and the road is beautiful!

Also, if you mail-ordered a Road Trip kit, it will be mailed out tomorrow. (Thank you, husband.) If you ordered one for pickup, it is ready. Please make an appointment to pick your kit up. I have a few extra kits, as listed on the website. If none of those work, make an appointment to choose colors you love for a custom kit!

YOUR (What you've been working on)

I love the dress that Alex made out of our Amy Butler fabric from waaaaay back. It was worth the wait to see it!! Alex is a costume designer who lives in California, and this is her own design.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I was at a picnic at a friend's house yesterday. Look who was relaxing by the pond! I need to make something now out of brown, moss, cream, and lime. Great combo.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

It was time for a new shipment of Lizbeth size 20 tatting thread, and so it happened this week. There's any color you want in a full rainbow! It's also great for big-stitch hand quilting. Size 20 is the most popular size, so that's what I have for a full range of colors, but I also have white in sizes 3, 10, 40, and 80. I'm told that size 3 makes great lifelines for knitting. We'll all have to test it out!

You'll want to know that I still have Valdani in size 12, with a great range of colors there, too.
