STITCH (What I've been working on)

I have a new pattern! I've released it today. It's another Andi story, this time a mystery poncho! This project is sized to fit all sizes and heights. If you're not a "Halloween person," you'll still like the poncho. The only way you'll know what the motifs mean is if you've read the story that goes with it.

Set up a time, and we'll fix you up with a terrific yarn selection! Make it Halloween colors, fall colors, blues and pinks, or all grays! You'll love this very wearable garment. Buy the pattern here! And then come in, and we'll help you with the yarn.

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Barbara Clem is one of my wonderful, out-of-state customers, with breathtaking skills. I love it that I have customers who have been in shops of all kinds all over the U.S., but they still love coming to my little shop. It's such an honor.

If you happen to get to the Quilt Extravaganza in Oaks, PA this weekend, you'll see her quilt hanging there. And yes, you might recognize some of the fabrics in it! On the back is a poem that Barbara's grandmother wrote, which is below the quilt here.

I also look forward to seeing some of her future quilts, because I know some of the fabrics in them, and I can't wait to see what she comes up with!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

Boots as modern sculpture. (Quite a contrast to Barbara's quilt, above!) I don't know about you, but it's been a while since I've been willing to wear this sort of thing. Still, I look at it and have to admire the lines and color!
