Hello, everyone!

Happy Monday! I'm back from a couple of weeks of vacation, and feeling refreshed! (And I'm getting ready for teaching and vending at the Huntingdon Fiber Festival this coming weekend.) Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

Well, after 6 years, I've finished this Paw Pillow! It turned out cute. I think the chart would make a fun back to a sweater, or if you're a brave knitter, an afghan. If you like cats or maybe LIONS, this is a great project! The pattern is called Team Meow, and it's available now! As has been true of all my patterns for the past year or so, all proceeds will support my friend Joy as she continues to recover from her cancer journey. Even if you don't knit, buying this pattern gives someone needed grocery and rent money. Sometimes life gives us a long haul, doesn't it?

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Paula's hat is adorable! The pattern is Wandering Foxes. The designer doesn't have the pattern set up to allow yarn shops to buy it, so do that directly, but please support the store by coming here for the perfect yarn and pom-pom!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

My friend Lisa was at Upper Multnomah Falls, Oregon. I loved her photo.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

We've gotten in the most exciting yarn: The Zodiac Collection of Rios. I have all 12 colors (at the moment!). This is a photo of it from when I ordered it. Set up a time to browse and see it in person! My shelves are completely stuffed with Rios. Come in an see all the glorious colors, plus squish it!!
