Hi, all!

The suddenly cooler weather is so inspirational for fall! I have new fall fabrics, and the class newsletter should be ready in about a week. And I should add quickly that I plan to be here on Labor Day. Set up a time to come in!

But for today, I mainly want to share a new venture with you.

I'm super excited to make the official announcement that I have a new line of my own yarn! It's called Virtuous Yarn Company. You can see from the spiffy label that I was officially established in the year 2021.

You know how much I like color, and since you like it as much as I do, I think you'll be pleased with beautiful yarns that span the rainbow! I have over 50 colors. Here are about half of them:

I love seeing my color ideas coming to life before my eyes. And of course, we all want our yarn to be soft and delightfully squishy. (DONE, CHECK.)

You can see the Virtuous sock yarn at stitchyourartout.com under the store's online yarn shop (the only place to purchase it besides in person at the store) or at virtuousyarn.com. (I have the story of the name there in the "about" section, if you're curious.)

Each yarn color is named after a virtue, so you can knit things that will spur you to be, say, "Brave" and "Generous." (Can we possibly live up to it all? Hahahaha!)

I also am starting to add a DK and a merino Aran tweed. I'm sure I'll keep adding other types of yarn, but this will do for getting started. Come in and see them!

As I have time available, I can also make custom colors for you. No guarantees that I'll be able to get exactly what you visualize, but if you're not finding the right color to match up something, I'll do my best! If I'm out of something, I can usually have it in a few days instead of 6-8 weeks. Hooray!

If the day you want has no openings showing online, please call, and I'll fit you in either earlier that morning, or later that afternoon or evening. I work all kinds of odd hours for appointments! And I love it!
