STITCH (What I've been working on)

It'll be block of the month time again on Saturday. Here's Block 2! I'm loving these big blocks. I not only am enjoying the way they look, but I'm also enjoying how fast they're making up. Sometimes instant gratification is just the ticket. If you're still interested, just call me. The website won't let you sign up, but I'm in control here, not the website.

YOUR (What you've been working on)

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I took an online colored-pencil drawing class from Kirsty Partridge. We drew this bird. I was pleased with the outcome in general. It's fun to draw, knit, or quilt colorful things! I'm struck by how much lessons matter, and, almost more than that, how much good materials matter. I knew this from owning a place with good materials--but it applies to all the things! And definitely lessons. I don't think it'd be this good if I'd done it on my own.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Let's continue on with more animals--namely, cats! Loving this sweet fabric. It would make so many wonderful things!
