STITCH (What I've been working on)

Block 3 of this year's block of the month! We made 12 of these. This is my favorite block so far. Drama! (Not all my points are perfect in all 12 of the blocks. But at least some of them are. Hahaha!)

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Judy brought in her exquisite Florida Road Trip mystery shawl. She's planning to enter it into the Huntingdon County Fair. I think she has a good shot at winning a prize!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

Here's another photo from Christmas, Florida. I love how you can see the Great Blue Heron's little tongue! I didn't notice that until I got home and was going through pictures. And those wings.

I even like that the sky was cloudy: The gray makes a beautiful background for this magnificent bird.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Do you like cross stitching with silk? If so, you're in luck! New in the shop is every color of silk floss made by Threadworx. It's stunning.

I also carry every color of Weeks Dyeworks cotton floss (which has been true for a few years). If you were to go into a physically bigger shop, the amount of floss I have would be filling part of a wall. We here at Stitch Your Art Out are extremely efficient with space, and all the floss of both types is in little clear acrylic drawers. All of this floss fit into the drawers you see below. P. S. My friend Joy still needs to make her rent this month. (I've been able to take care of her groceries for the rest of March with Road Trip pattern sales! Thank you!) I got to talk to her for a bit last week. She's searching for a job, but one hasn't shown itself yet; she has to find one that is low on germs because of the bone-marrow transplant, and one that's either online or within walking distance since she doesn't have a car. But her blood counts have improved enough that she can finally begin to look.
