Yesterday, we met our niece and her husband (the famous Josue of my Josue's Hat pattern) for lunch in York, PA. Josue brought along his Christmas present, a drone. He used to it take this photo of the large bridge behind the restaurant. The drone flew so high that we couldn't see it!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

This coming Saturday is Knit in Public Day. Here's the information about our local one. I'll be there while a good helper watches the store! See you there!

Saturday June 8 is International Knit in Public Day. Details below for our local KIP. Share with friends!  

WHAT:  Centre County Knit in Public Day

WHEN:  Saturday, June 8 from noon to 4

WHERE: Boal City Brewing, 281 Old Boalsburg Road, Boalsburg, PA

WHO:  All Knitters, Crocheters, Spinners and Weavers are welcome!  

WHAT TO EXPECT:  

• The goal is to make fibercraft visible to the public! An informal event, plan to bring your project, hang with friends and answer friendly questions from curious muggles. BCB does not take reservations but they know we're coming (so come early for a good seat).
• Seating: Indoor and outdoor seating available, but you may bring your favorite folding chair for outdoors. 
• Food and drink: Enjoy BCB beverages. A food truck is always on site Saturdays and snacks are sold as well, but I'm told you may bring your own food (but not drinks). See food truck schedule and menus at https://www.boalcitybrewing.com/. 
• Children? Yes, they are welcome but see BCB house rules at https://www.boalcitybrewing.com/houserules.  

WHAT ELSE? Invite your friends! Centre County KIP will be listed at https://www.wwkipday.com/.
