Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

My sweet friend E.M. Corsa is an artist. She draws so many fun things. Last week, she drew a hat.

Here's her picture. She said in her Facebook post, "I thought it might be fun this month to offer a holiday wish each morning. Today, I wish you a winter hat to keep your ears warm." When I saw that hat, I wanted it. I asked her if I could make it into a real hat with a pattern, and she said yes. So I set to work.

And here's my draft version. How cute is this hat????

I have a few tiny tweaks to the pattern. But this is pretty close!

Don't let the bobbles scare you. I make them a super-easy way.

I'm in the middle of making kits. For this month, I plan to make 15 kits, and it'll take me about 2 weeks (maybe sooner if all goes well, but don't count on that). If you'd like a kit, go ahead and preorder one, and then I'll notify you when it's ready for pickup or to be mailed.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

My friend Chris lives in the most gorgeous place. This is literally in his back yard. He posted this picture the other day and agreed that I could show it to you. Enjoy!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Most people come in these days with patterns from online, and books languish on the shelves. So I'm going to keep both the knitting and quilting books at half price till they're gone! I personally love books, so hope you use this opportunity to get some good ones.
