Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

Starting this very moment, I'm holding a week-long celebration for Local Yarn Store Day, a special day dedicated to supporting and celebrating local yarn shops like ours! Because I run by appointment, it makes more sense to celebrate for a week to give everyone plenty of time to be here--and so I will.

We'll be offering exclusive discounts on a wide selection of yarns and accessories, so you can stock up on everything you need for your next project. (The main table is full of amazing bargain yarns from Brown Sheep, Berroco, Noro, and more!)

But that's not all! I have special Local Yarn Store Day pins that I'll be giving away to the first 40 people who come in and spend at least $40.00. (If you'd just like a pin, it's $5.99.) They're about an inch big, not as big as the photo. But super cute!

Note that we're still awaiting kits for the Great Lakes Road Trip Mystery shawl that would have originally started this Saturday. We'll start the knit-along when all the yarn shops who are participating have their kits. There is still no estimated date, but we're hoping for early summer. I'll keep you informed!

Lake Raystown was gorgeous from the hotel rooms this year. Want to come to the retreat next year? A $100 (nonrefundable) deposit holds your place! It'll be April 25 or 26 through 28 at Lake Raystown Resort. Give the shop a call at 814-238-4151, and we'll take care of you!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)
