STITCH (What I've been working on)

I've made a mystery hat! I'll show you just the yarns. I'll be pre-selling kits beginning mid-October, and clues will be released starting November 2. It's Nordic classic--but with beads. More details in October!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

Chris Staver is a local quilt artist who does magnificent work. This piece is particularly interesting because it's stitched on vellum rather than fabric.

She writes about this piece: My dad designed thousands of houses and commercial buildings in the Pittsburgh area. He loved his work which was obvious as we drove around Pittsburgh and he would proudly point out the ones that he designed. I’ve recycled one of his drafting vellums in this piece. I wanted his design work to show through so I’ve used transparent paints and kept both my machine and hand stitching fairly simple. I dedicate it to my dad.

New Uneek sock kits. This is what they look like before they go in their little, cute boxes! This is one of our most popular yarns, so I've ordered in most of their colors. The shelves are FULL.
