STITCH (What I've been working on)

I'm working hard on an Advent project for both knitters and quilters! I'll give you all the details next week and will be releasing pre-orders of the kits on July 25, as a Christmas in July kick-off! I'm super excited! If you like opening presents, this is the perfect project for you! Next week's email will probably be about only this project, since there are a fair number of details involved. (Don't worry, if you don't celebrate Christmas, there is no red and green involved, and no elves. This will still be a terrific winter project.)

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Bev's quilt is magnificent! It's small--about 30" square, which is impressive. All those little pieces! I love her color choices.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

The Arts Fest was this past week. It was so nice to get out, walk around, and see beautiful things. I always enjoy the banners. They look like quilts hanging on a wash line.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

We've just passed Amazon Prime Day. This week, I have decided to out-Amazon Amazon. There's a new book that's coming out very soon, called Knitting the National Parks. It's a super-cute concept, where you knit hats inspired by different national parks. Anyway, this book lists for $35. Amazon has it for $30. I'm going to sell them for $27. I have 5 copies on order. When they're gone from my shop, they're gone from my shop.

You can pre-order them on my website here, and I'll call you to pick up the book when it's in. Or you can call me, or make an appointment to come in. (I don't have the connections with the Post Office to be able to give you "Amazon Prime" free shipping. Sorry!) I think I'll also be getting them sooner than the August 30 release, although I can't guarantee a ship date.

Oh--and I also have snap-on pom-poms for the top of your hat!
