I've never done this in an email before, but I'm asking for a bit of help. I have a dear friend living in Florida who still needs money to pay rent by tomorrow. (Rent was due today, and she's still short.) She is recovering from a bone-marrow transplant and is unable to work as of yet. I won't get into the lack of "social safety nets" she has experienced, but let's just say that she's tried everything that's going through your mind right now. She's going to start a Go Fund Me again in January, but for December, she still needs $1100 to make her rent.
