Happy Monday Tuesday! I hope you had a lovely weekend. Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

I've been working on lots of stuff as always, but I'm super excited about starting a new block of the month using Tula Pink fabrics! I'm using animal prints for the center, and solids for the star/background. It's going to be an unusual block of the month for here, in that all of the blocks are the same--just different colors.

Here's the first block. I'm in love with this quilt already. I'll have the newsletter ready very soon, but this is already online here.

You'll also want a Creative Grids flying geese ruler, since we'll be using it for each block. And if you don't have a 6.5" ruler, it wouldn't hurt, although it's less essential. While you're at it, preorder a coordinating Tula Pink iron! I have samples of these irons in the shop now (not the Tula versions), and I've been testing them. I have to admit that I love, love, love the larger one! Set up a time if you'd like to see them.

The concept for the whole quilt is roughly like this. Each month, you'll make 4 blocks, for a total of 36 blocks.

YOUR (What you've been working on)

I love Marianne's version of the Harmonic Convergence!! It's so cheerful. I always have copies of this book in the shop. It's a classic.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

Here's a painting by Paul Klee: Ancient Harmony, 1925. Thanks to my friend Erin for posting this one on Facebook. Because as you'll see next, it's the perfect art for this week's "what's out."

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

This new fabric is the best! (Does it look similar to the painting above? Probably not an accident. But I love how the colors have been changed. Both are beautiful!) What would you do with it?
