STITCH (What I've been working on)

Yay! This year's block of the month is finished (except for quilting). I'm pleased. Every time I look at it, I see different patterns emerging. The designing phase simply gives a feel for what the quilt might look like. Seeing it come alive with the fabric choices is the best!

Okay! Time to plunge into 2024's block of the month! There's no time to waste! Are you checking projects off your list, too?

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Alison finished her first hat! She used my Quick-Knit Hat pattern. Ta da! I love a success!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I was at Kelly's restaurant a couple of weeks ago. As I was walking in, I happened to look to my right. The moon was a bright sliver, and I loved the lights they put up. Have you ever had Kelly's house salad? It's not the usual tomatoes thrown over lettuce. It has candied pecans, mandarin oranges, and a ginger-lime dressing. Yes, please!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Get ready for Advent month in December!

Each afternoon at 4:00, beginning November 30, I'll post on both Facebook and Instagram the special or giveaway for the next day. There will be a new special each day until December 22. Sign up for an appointment if you find that day's special interesting! Sometimes it'll be discounts, other times little presents. If you don't do social media, just make a bunch of appointments, stop in, and be surprised!

December Mystery Gnome Knit Along Starts Friday!

Remember to join Imagined Landscape's annual December mystery gnome knit along. It starts on December 1, which is approaching rapidly.

Each day you'll receive an email with a little knitting, a recipe, a coloring page, a diorama or a bit of story. This December's gnome, Mr. Gnightley, is sure to have a fun and imaginative story to hold our interest! I'm actually going to knit a pattern that someone else designed, because it seems very doable!

• We'll buy the pattern for you with the purchase of the yarn if you buy the yarn before the knit along begins on Friday. (And we'll throw in some pellets for weighting down the gnome.)
