Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

The skirt is done! That was fun. I'm definitely doing this as a retreat project in April. Even if you never wear skirts (I never wear skirts), it was an interesting project because the construction is what they did in colonial times.

Call the shop to put a deposit down for the retreat! It'll be April 25-28, 2024.

YOUR (What you've been working on)

How pretty is this version of our Kaffe and Friends Block of the Month? Margie gifted it to her lucky sister, whose favorite color is red.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

We have amazing teachers at Stitch Your Art Out. Mary Beth, who teaches appliqué, has just had her quilt accepted into the Quilt Extravaganza show in Oaks, PA. Go see it in person at the show!!! If you can't make it, we'll have it on display at the shop later this fall, because it's going to be a class! Mary Beth designed the quilt as well as making it. Barbara Dann did the beautiful quilting. Do you have a billion scraps sitting around? This is your quilt!

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Fall yarns are arriving. New sock yarn from Urth! It comes packaged in matched pairs of two, and does loooooong self-striping. Come in and see the sample sock they sent us!
