Happy Sunday!
And happy Mother's Day!
Motherhood is the most important job in the world. The strongest and most resilient people in the world are mothers.
Today, if you can, be sure to express gratitude to your mother for all that she's done for you.
If you are a mom, I appreciate you and all you do to make the world a better place, simply by loving your kids!
I hope you enjoy today's Sunday 7!

3 ) 🥾 This Week Outside
Chrissy and I got to visit the Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs and do a hike there. It is an amazing place. The photos below don't even do it justice.
How can you have fun outside this weekend?
4 ) Dad Joke
While most puns make me feel numb.
Math puns make me feel number.

Marriage Pearl # 15: Support Your Spouse's Surprise Interests
Support your spouse's interests, even if you “don’t get” them.
There are many things about Steve that I still just don’t get and I know he’d say the same about me.
These things have changed over time as well. We are evolving in our persons and are not exactly the same as when we first met or were married. Life has a way of changing you, your interests, your perspectives, you hobbies, etc.
In many ways we have changed so that our interests are more aligned and similar, but there are still those things that he likes to engage in that leave me shaking my head.
Often times my response is well I didn’t see that coming, but yeah- go for it.
For example, my son and I had shown Steve a community class at the local community college that we thought he'd be interested in. Instead, he landed on a different class that was totally unexpected, that I didn't even see there: an Improv Acting course.
It was weekly and then he participated in a show at the end. I was surprised that my reserved husband wanted to do this, but he did.
I went to the show at the end and was delighted to see him thrown into action with his classmates acting out one after the other improv scenarios.
He had a lot of fun doing the course. And so did I to see him doing the show.
What is something about your spouse's interests that has surprised you?
6 ) 🖊️ Adventures of Steve & Chrissy Update
This week marks the half-way point for out time here in Colorado. This means a couple things ...
7 ) 🤔 Question for Reflection
What are the most important lessons you learned from your mother?
