Dec 23, 2022 3:46 pm
Happy Sunday, friends!
Merry Christmas!
Hope you enjoy your holidays and this week's Sunday 7.
Blessings!
1) Photo of the Week
White sand dunes at the White Sands National Park
2) Quote to Ponder
Remember, the Devil has only one door with which to enter into our soul: our will. There are no secret or hidden doors. No sin is a true sin if we have not willfully consented. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina
3) Hike of the Week
ENSENADA BEACH WALK 49/52
4) Dad Joke
Who was the builder of King Arthur's round table?
Sir Cumference.
5) 🎯 A Milestone
This is the 52nd weekly publication of the Sunday 7!
To celebrate this milestone, I put together a couple compilations from all The Sunday 7s from 2022.
The first is all the quotes and you can get that by clicking the button below.
I hope to continue to continue and grow the newsletter in 2023.
I put together all the Dad Jokes from 2022 in one document as a Prize to incentivise sharing.
If someone signs up via your referral link then you get the Prize!
You can find the share info in the footer below.
6) Adventures of Steve and Chrissy Update
Happy Holidays!
Chrissy and I are in Colorado this week with our kids and their families. We took some time to get here visiting the White Sands National Park on the way, as well as Santa Fe, NM. The photo above is from the National Park.
We went skiing as a family, some of us for the first time. Even our granddaughter enjoyed a snowboard.
Spending time in Colorado is sweet and refreshing but also cementing our desire to stay in the Airstream somewhere that isn't freezing at night.
I did secure another nursing contract for the first 13 weeks of 2023 and will be working again in Tucson but for a different hospice agency. We'll fill you in on the non-holiday stuff later.
Just a friendly reminder, as we celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace, to prioritize peace over perfection in your holiday celebration.
Christmas can be stressful, and even disappointing, if you hold expectations that it should all be like a perfect holiday movie.
Relax. Be present. Savor the celebration and enjoy the imperfections.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
7) Question for Reflection
If for the whole next year you never avoided doing what you knew you needed to do, no matter how hard or uncomfortable, what could your life be like?
