A sale of sequels, and Children of the Gods late opportunities

Hey everyone!

As summer swiftly approaches, I've been plugging away at the final revisions for Children of the Gods, and enjoying working in a quiet house for a couple more weeks before my kids are home for the summer.

I've got about a week of work left on final revisions. Then, it will be all set to send off for Tim Campbell to record the audiobook.

Recording is scheduled for mid-June.

Production and Release Schedule

Here's the quick rundown of how things will unfold for Children of the Gods over the next few months.

Finishing Up the Artwork and Proofreading for the Book (May)
Audiobook Recording (June)
Print Preparation for the Hardcover will begin (summer)
Digital Reward Fulfillment (July / Aug.)
Hardcovers will Print (Sept. / Oct.)
Physical Reward Fulfillment (Dec.)

Digital Wide Release for CotG

Backers of the Kickstarter campaign will receive every format of Children of the Gods first. Once ebooks and audiobook deliver by August at the latest, the digital versions will launch more widely, tentatively planning on Sept. 30 for Amazon and Audible.

Pre-orders will go up in the near future, once the release date is set in stone.

Physical editions will follow suit once all physical rewards from the campaign are fulfilled. Physical copies will launch more widely around January, I expect.

But if you missed the campaign, you don't have to wait until then...

The Clothbound Hardcover, Paperback, Audiobook, and the Dragon Hoard Book Box are all available.

The Book Box will be for a more limited time, due to needing to finalize the number of items we need to order for the Dragon Egg Pins, Bookmarks, Art Cards, etc.

Rage of Saints Deluxe has printed and I just got the first copy of the final version of the book

The faux leather books for Shadow Watch #2 have officially printed and are on their way to the Merrick Books facility. The printer sent me a copy ahead of the main shipment, and it turned out absolutely fantastic!

It takes the large shipment quite a bit longer than my one-book package, but the pallets of books should arrive at the Merrick Books facility in Texas in a few weeks time.

It then takes some time to process orders, assemble all the packages, etc.

My guess would be that we are looking at July deliveries for most backers.

I was guessing it would be August back when we ran the campaign (based on the timeframe for Book One), so everything has come together even faster this second time around!

Woohoo!

And hey, the Illustrated Paperbacks didn't turn out too shabby either...

That flying ship in the floating mountains really makes a most excellent cover, I must say.

For those who backed the paperback too, these include all the artwork in black and white, but in a version you can read at the beach or toss in a purse or backpack with only minimal guilt.

The Darkling Queen (Shadow Watch #3) is coming soon...

Shadow Watch Book Three is being designed at the moment, and most of the artwork is already complete, so expect some awesome art and cover reveals to come soon for The Darkling Queen.

Once Rage of Saints ships to all backers, we'll be launching the Kickstarter for the deluxe edition of Book 3, probably in early August.

I have partnered with a bunch of other authors with a promotion centered around discounting the sequels, since usually book deals revolve around the first book in a series.
