A Free Intro Story to the Shadow Watch
To kick things off, here's a free Prequel Novelette (about 40 pages in length).
This story involves the two main characters of The Shadow Watch, a four book epic fantasy saga about a revolution of magic.
But long before Tori and Darien were involved in wars, they were slaves in Osha.
This is the story of how they met.
In the slums of the Fringes,

A little about the Shadow Watch series:
The Shadow Watch is the epic (four books!) saga of a revolution of magic in a world where sorcery was nearly eradicated after a great magical war brought the world to the brink of destruction.
But the heart of the story centers on Tori and Darien. They are both slaves in the harsh northern nation of Osha, and though romance between slaves is forbidden, they care for one another more than any other.
When Darien is dealt a cruel twist of fate, Tori reveals an incredible power in a defiant attempt to save him. It turns out, Tori is one of the last living Watchers, and her sorcerous secret is out.
War is coming. But does Tori have what it takes to resist an empire?
If you enjoyed the Netflix show Shadow and Bone, or Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series, I think you will love this story.
