Happy Halloween!
I hope you and yours are well heading into Halloween. The autumn has flown by here, and the cold is setting in and the days are getting short.
But I love this season!
My family has been enjoying playing in the leaves, getting out to look at fall colors, watching football, and visiting pumpkin patches and other seasonal activities.
We've got a dino and a ninja turtle in our house, eager for some trick or treating and school parties.
And then (yikes) comes the holiday season, which is somehow already upon us!

So much has been going on this year, I haven't taken much time to talk about the fact that this year I launched my own Shopify store, focused on selling signed copies of my books.
Every year around this time up through December, I start seeing a noticeable surge in paperback orders off the Zon, in particular complete sets of the Shadow Watch Saga. Which I assume are gifts for the most part.
Anyway, books off Amazon are great gifts and all. But I think we can all agree that signed books are cooler.

Writing Updates
I am finally starting to settle into a rhythm with Age of Fire #2.
I'm taking it slow these first few weeks, as I'm also looking ahead and figuring out a lot of plot for later in the book as I get things going in these early chapters.
But it's going well so far, and I'm really excited for where this one is headed.
It shall be quite epic...

What's Entertaining Me?
Reading - Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo... my fantasy halloween read... and I'm also finally reading Eragon by Mr. Paolini.
Watching - My wife and I are just starting Stranger Things S3 for our rewatch... very much enjoying revisiting the series before the final season.
And also just started One Piece (live action), and am enjoying it so much I may have to give the manga a try, even though I've never read one before.
