Happy New Year!
We’ve been having some unusually cold, wet and windy weather since Christmas, and it’s been great!
The first picture is of my youngest two who got to wear rain boots and jackets for the first time in eight months (the last time being when we were in the UK in early 2022!).
And the beach below is close to our house. You normally see blue skies for days; an overcast sky is very unusual in Dubai (unless it’s a sandstorm of course). You can see the Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world) in the distance.
I hope 2023 has started strong for you, and that even better days are yet to come! I’ve been busy writing for most of last year, and the first book in my new series with Mike Kraus is coming out in March. I’ll update you all closer to the date, and will be putting out a call soon for advanced readers.
