We’ve been in Dubai for almost two months now and are gradually settling back into a groove. We have a villa close to the beach and the kids are involved in lots of (socially distanced and masked) activities, which is a lovely change from Qatar where we spent the better part of 2020 at home.
We can walk to the beach from our place and had to laugh the other day when the beach was closed due to the (not so big) waves. With the beach cleared of swimmers, the kite surfers were out in force. It was a beautiful sight!
The second book in our Aftermath series releases today! We are so excited to continue April and Rita’s journey in the aftermath of the worst hurricanes to ever hit the US. Did you read book one? What did you think?
