The African violets in my kitchen window are in bloom finally after 3 years of no flowers! They always make me think of my grandmother, who grew them in her kitchen window, a long long way from here, over in northern England. She would sing to them as she did the dishes: "you shall have a fishy in a little dishy when the boat comes in ... " 🌸🐟⛴
