Hi!
I have great news! The Alliance Kickstarter campaign is officially funded, and my backers unlocked four stretch goals:
Digital Artwork: Family Portrait of Mirari, Gaven, and Salathiel.
Chapter Headers for each book. (4 total)
2 Full-Page B&W Artworks per eBook and Paperback. (8 total)
Hardback version for Book 1 with all unlocked stretch goal arts.
I just got the proofs for the paperbacks, and they're looking good. I will work on the hardcover this weekend.
For anyone who missed out, late pledges are open until all rewards are delivered.
Thank you again for believing in this project.
What's next?
I'm feeling inspired to do some special designs with my next campaign, including more character art. I've been a big fan of @rakunaito's works, and I'm ecstatic he agreed to do this Kickstarter-exclusive cover.
Let me know what you’d like to see in this next novel, We Met in Yggdrasil.
Until next time,
Stefanie
BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS
To be discovered with magical potential is to be feared. The gifted few dread their future, for while a life of ease awaits those who succeed, failure leads to a much darker destiny.
For Natalia, whose magical abilities revealed themselves at an early age, there is no choice. Torn from her mother's arms, she was borne away to the Volstrum, an institution steeped in mystery. There, trained as a battle mage, she has the potential to be one of the most powerful spellcasters ever. Yet the price they demand of her is too high!
Athgar's life was shattered the day his magical potential was released by the very fire that nearly consumed him. Even while the Orcs taught him to master his new talents, he could not forget those who were savagely ripped away. Blindly driven by revenge, it's not until he meets Natalia and nearly dies again that he realizes something much more sinister is unfolding.
Now, she is on the run from her family while he desperately hunts for his! Together, they embark on a voyage to unearth a dark conspiracy that has remained secret for years.
Discover a land infused with magic and mystery as Paul J Bennett's completed Sword & Sorcery series, The Frozen Flame, begins in Ashes.
When Aria is dragged through the Veil into the Fair Realm by a handsome, silver-eyed boy and his band of fairy soldiers, she discovers she is the legendary Fair Queen, the subject of a prophecy that promises to bring an end to the centuries-long conflict between the Five Kingdoms.
With terrifying creatures on their heels, and a tyrannical king who will stop at nothing to prevent the prophecy from coming true, Aria will have to rely on her wits if she’s to escape the Fair Realm with her life.
But can she resist the charms of her dark and mysterious captor, or will the fae prince steal her heart?
In ancient times, a family was endowed by the Creator to defend the world from unknown evil. And for generations, they succeed. Until Heklis came. Only one Custod survived, all but smothering the flames of power. But the magic is not lost.
It lives in young Cedrick Custod, but his father, the only Custod to survive the Heklis’s purge, will not let him know it. One accidental spell will bring the fury of his father crashing down upon him. Yet, if he leverages the power inside of him, they could awaken the dormant ancient powers they’d lost. To save their world, Cedrick will have to choose between duty and family, between his own desires and those he loves most. Can he overcome his father’s fury and find the key to saving his world? Or will he be doomed to watch as his father allows his world fall into darkness?
Storybook heroes do not exist. Just because a mysterious masked man stopped a deadly tornado, saving her while ignoring silly details like gravity, doesn't mean the supernatural occurred. Everleigh Lacey must instead focus on stopping powerful CEO Alexander Stone from taking over her company.
The businessman infiltrates her life, upending her days with stolen kisses and her nights with romance under the stars. Something about him seems familiar, yet she won't accept his authoritative tactics − or his effect on her.
