Stacy's Bookish News: Reading and Writing Happens Here

Jun 01, 2024 10:00 am

May was a busy month. It always is. In our house it's filled with birthdays, anniversaries, and end of school events.

I entered May excited after attending WIK 24 โ€” the SCBWI Southern Breeze conference. I loved all the workshops and returned home invigorated to revise and write some new projects.

I signed up for a summer workshop with author Lola M. Schaefer called From Acorn to Oak: Take Your Picture Book Idea to Final Manuscript. I love writing and revising, but I'm hopeful this workshop will help me streamline this process. I want to get to the heart of my story earlier!

Here are some posts I made in May, I read several new books this month, in case you missed these posts. It was an inspiring and productive month!

Happy Reading.
