When we meet someone, we tend to speak about what we do regularly or for a living. You might work or volunteer or stay at home! Whatever it is you do, you do something with your time, right?

So when talking about work, we can hear the question ‘¿A qué te dedicas?’ What do you do?

What would you answer? You might say

Soy profesora de español. - I’m a Spanish teacher.

Trabajo en una oficina. - I work in an office.

Tengo un negocio. Soy empresario/a. - I own a business. I’m an entrepreneur.

Estoy jubilado/a. - I’m retired.
