¡Hola, !

February marks the end of my Christmas celebrations with making and eating tamales on 2 February Día de la Candelaria ... I know, it takes a long time, right? After making and sharing a Rosca de Reyes on 6 January with friends and family, I was lucky to find the little "baby Jesus" in my piece of that lovely sweet bread (I nearly ate it!), so I had to make the tamales. It is lots of hard work, but totally worth it as they were delicious!

Looking for Beyond Beginners on Monday mornings

I recently started a group on Mondays at Clements Hall York and we are looking for more people to join us!

This is ideal for you if...

• you've already got the basics
• you know more than a few phrases
• you have done the very beginners bits but are not quite yet in the advanced stuff
• you've been using an app (Duolingo?) to progress your learning
• you're ready to practise and improve your speaking with fellow learners and a native speaker (me!)

This programme is offered on a pay as you go basis and priced at £12 per lesson. All materials and light refreshments included.

Improvers continues on Tuesday mornings at Clements Hall

This is a lovely group which has been meeting for a few years and we are 

always looking for more Improvers to join us. We have happily seen new faces and that is wonderful!

Come along and learn new expressions to sound like a native, practise your speaking, and improve your Spanish.
