I once asked a woman out, and this happened...

One day, I asked a woman out, and what she said shocked me. I wondered why she would say that, but it was not strange; a lot of people are like her.

I found her attractive and sent her a message for us to date, and after reading it, she sent her response immediately. The following quote is her response.

"I got your message, but the truth is, I am not open to relationships now. I have passed through a lot of heartbreak. So now I am afraid of relationships, and love is not fair on my side.

I am not lucky when it comes to relationships. I am afraid of dating. I don't want to be heartbroken again."

After reading that, I asked if she wished to be married and tried to convince her to give it a try, but she said, "I am afraid of relationships, sir. I am used to being alone."

To that, I responded with the following words, which marked the end of our conversation: "Okay then, you can remain alone. I will look for another woman who does not want to be alone."

Many of you might reason with her, but no amount of justification will change the fact that, with that decision, she chose her fears over her dreams. She wanted to be married, but she was not ready to get into a relationship to process it because she was afraid.

For that reason, she continues to live her fears and may never live her dream of getting married. Maybe if she had not assumed that all the relationships she goes into would end badly, we could have been married now, but she chose to live her fears. And it was a good decision for me, who wanted to live my dream of getting married and having marital bliss, to leave her.

A lot of you are like her; you embrace your fear and hope to live your dream. That is not possible. You will never live your dream while living your fears. You either live your dream or live your fears.

To live your fear is simple: just don’t do what it takes to achieve your dreams because you might fail. With that, you will automatically live your fears and bury your dreams.

What do you want most in life, and what are your plans for achieving it?

If you want to have marital bliss, you must be willing to start and end romantic relationships; you must be willing to keep moving despite several heartbreaks. If the fear of heartbreak keeps you out of romantic relationships, then you will never get married.

Instead of living your fear, read books, improve yourself, learn how to attract the right partner, and go again. If you do not learn and improve, your fears will become a reality, but your dreams will not.

You must risk falling to rise to the top.

You must risk being broke to become rich.

You must risk being hated to be loved.

You must risk heartbreak to have marital bliss.

You must risk learning to become an expert.

Do not live your fears, because if you do, you will never live your dreams.
