Hello Foodies!

I just explored the sweet side of Guatemala and wrote an article about it, featuring 15 traditional Guatemalan desserts that are absolutely delightful.

These treats are not just delicious but also offer a glimpse into the rich culinary culture of Guatemala.

In the article, I highlight a few favorites that you've got to know about.

First up is Polvorosas, a unique type of sweet shortbread cookie. They're crispy on the outside, yet light and powdery on the inside, and they're a hit with both kids and adults.

Then there's Arroz en Leche, a comforting dessert that doubles as a drink, perfect for any time of the year. It's a creamy rice pudding made with a mix of whole and evaporated milk, flavored with cinnamon and raisins.

And of course, I couldn't leave out Tres Leches, a sponge cake soaked in three kinds of milk, topped with whipped cream. It's soft, moist, and utterly decadent.
