Nourish, rest, reflect

Dear,
We're in that in-between; returned from the summer pastures, but not quite ready yet to plunge into a season of high activity.
Where I live, golden yellow peaches are currently being shaken from the trees by gusts of wind. As I'm enjoying the fresh fruit, I'm reminded of seasonal living, and how naturally healthy it is to tune into the energy of the season.
As I take some time to ponder the multi-sensory reading of this moment, images of this summer surface. I feel my solar batteries have been replenished to the max, and I'm welcoming fresh, cool weather. I feel rested (even though we've worked on the renovation through the summer). I'm relaxed and filled with gratitude - sweetness - as I'm "tasting" Life in this moment.
When I expand my view, yes, I'm aware of the events in the world, and yes, my Heart aches, too.
But this writing is an invitation to put things into perspective, to find the balance between the heartbreak of the perceived world (as the various media present it), and your personal, direct witnessing of your personal, direct surroundings.
What is good and right in the here and now? This we can appreciate, be grateful for. What we give our attention to, grows.
We, natural human beings, are creative creatures, when not seized up by fearful thinking. When some thing is not right in your personal, immediate surroundings, see what steps you can take to correct it.
Repair. Build. Hug. Nourish. Tend. Create.
Respecting your rhythm, the energy and flow that is here, today.
The future is being shaped in the here and now.
