Hello, hello !

Shukin here! Since the last series of emails I've been able to set a feeew new things towards diversifying my content in general, and this is just a bit of an extra commentary for those interested!

Platform Study Poll

Okay, so, last email I sent a form trying to measure interest towards a bunch of different projects for the short-term, such as streaming and the focus my art should go towards, and I got some interesting results out of it! Of course, survivorship bias is very important to consider here: Most, if not all of you, came to meet me through my art and follow me for my art specifically, mainly through Twitter and this is also the main platform that answered the form, so, with that in mind, here's some interesting numbers!

Out of 39 answers total, the top four platforms are Twitter (28), FurAffinity (25) and Bluesky & Youtube (24 each). I'm not surprised those were the first picks between them all, specially Twitter, but I'm impressed that FA still has such a devout fanbase! Postybirb has been giving me some trouble posting there, but I'm gonna continue trying my best to keep it at least updated.

Every stream format got 16 votes each, being that those that got the link through the newsletter were more favorable towards it (all of you voted for it!) instead of the less than a third of users from Twitter. They're more resistant to content that's different than what they expect, after all, so it's understandable.

Unsurprisingly, NSFW Original Artwork (39) and NSFW Fanart (37) were the top voted overall, but SFW content in general got fewer votes, 31 and 27 respectively. They both still ranked higher than everything else, but the one that actually surprised me is that Long-form Videos got over half the votes at 23!

It might be a good idea to go towards that, after all. And with all the new hardware and software stuff I've been getting, streaming to capture material for those videos sounds like a good idea to create a new public! It's interesting to think about.

Commissions and Queue

Anyways, commissions have been slowly worked upon, and I put myself to sketch something personal between comms as a new-year resolution, so expect more content straight from the glowfox's head soon enough! Patreon has been getting some WIP updates on that, if you aren't currently subscribed, it's a good incentive!
