How small wins compound into big success

The story of William Deming

A story:

In the fifties, the Japanese economy was devastated after WWII.

The Japanese not only sought to get back on their feet...

But they wanted to become an economic power.

The US decided to help and sent one man to Japan.

This man was William Edwards Deming.

Deming had a list of "points" he gave to the Japanese.

There were fourteen points, but the one I like the most:

Point 5: Improve constantly and forever.

This point led the Japanese to become great.

Great at building cars, companies, and disciplined people.

And thanks to this fifth point, after twenty years...

They had become one of the biggest powers in the world!

Now, why is this story relevant to you?

Deming presents a simple yet often overlooked lesson.

If you improve by one percent every day...

You reap massive rewards long-term, like Japan did.

This point applies to business, relationships, career...

And of course, your health.

You may not see it yet, but the small wins you stack today...

Are stepping stones to big wins you'll achieve in the future.

Often, a nearer future than you may think!

So let's get the ball rolling.

The big question

Ask yourself, "how can I improve by one percent today?"

Some ideas:

Focus on improving by one percent daily...

And your goals will inevitably come true.

Hope this helped,

Jen.
