Did you think something was missing from your meal plan?

Hey Hey!

If you’ve been following this meal plan for the past 3½ weeks, you’ve been going without something that’s known to cause all kinds of inflammation responses from your body.

It can cause aches and pains, digestion upsets, skin problems, depression, and more.

It’s gluten … and it’s so pervasive in the American diet that giving it up can seem like a big chore. But after these past few weeks without it, I’m guessing you’re feeling pretty awesome.

And have you noticed that once you get the ball rolling, it’s not really THAT hard, is it?

It gets even easier and easier when you notice how AMAZING you feel without it. You probably have lost that bloat, feel more energized, and you may have even noticed your skin glowing a little brighter!

Obviously you’ve made a LOT of changes in the way you eat during this challenge that can make you feel better, but kicking gluten probably plays a major role in all that!

If you want to stay gluten-free after this challenge, here are some tips to avoid it:

First, check the labels on all packaged food and if it says “wheat,” don’t buy it.

It also can be found in some vitamins and medication, in oats that don’t say “gluten-free” on the label, shredded cheese (it’s an anti-caking agent), restaurant food (ask for gluten-free!), toothpaste and mouthwash, some shampoos, food coloring, and more.

Also, if you start adding “gluten-free” processed foods to your diet, beware! Just because they are gluten-free doesn’t mean they are HEALTHY. Still read the labels and check the sugar, fiber, and overall nutrient content!

Have an awesome Thursday!
