Getting Strong Feels GOOD!

Hello my fit, strong and healthy gals!
We all love to feel strong. When you take care of your body and feel like you can do anything, it’s the best feeling in the world!
But as we get older, if we’re not intentional about keeping our muscles active (lifting weights or challenging our muscles), we’ll see a gradual decline in our muscle tissue, starting in our 30s. ARRGHH!
If you’re not active, you can lose as much as 3% to 5% of your muscle mass each decade! As you probably already know, lifting weights helps to counteract this.
Working out will not only make you stronger and help you look better, but just by having more lean muscle mass on your body means you’ll burn more fat during the day!
It’s a win-win all around.
Plus, it will not only help your muscles get stronger, but it’ll also protect your bones since weight-bearing exercises are a great way to prevent bone loss as we get older, too. :-)
