Do you "wolf" down your food?

Good Morning!
You’ve probably heard that you should eat your meals slowly because it takes that long for your body to realize it’s full.
I don’t know if anyone has actually MEASURED how long it actually takes, but taking time to savor your meal – to taste the flavors and enjoy it – can make a real difference in how you feel.
In fact, did you know that CHEWING is considered part of the digestion process? That’s right! Digestion starts just as soon as food enters your mouth. And the better job at chewing your food you do, the better your overall digestion… and the more nutrients you absorb!
Eating slowly also improves your body’s hydration, can help you lose or maintain your weight, and improve your overall satisfaction with your meal.
One of the most important ways you can control how fast you eat is to be mindful. Eating while working in front of the computer or watching TV probably isn’t the best way to do that. Taking the time to unwind during your meal is a great start.
Are you naturally a fast eater? If so, let's try to slow it down a bit. (I'm guilty of this one!)
