Detox Day Four!

Good Morning !
One of the main points during this detox is to lower the energy expenditure of your digestive system to allow your body to rest and recover.
So much of your recovery and repair happens when you sleep!
Did you get a good night's sleep last night? We're shooting for 8 hours during this challenge. However, if you KNOW the amount of sleep that is perfect for you, shoot for that. For me, it's 7 hours.
Did you know that lack of sleep can also impact your ability to lose weight?
It'll also affect your cravings during the day.
Tips for Better Sleep:
- Drink your herbal tea before bed. (no sweetener).
- Turn off all electronics an hour before bed. And never sleep with the TV on. The light from the screen will upset your sleep patterns.
- Crank up the AC a few degrees at night. It helps to keep the bedroom cool at night.
- Use a white noise machine. This will help to drown out outside noises and help you get to sleep faster.
