The Power of Protein

Have you noticed that when you make sure to have protein as a part of your breakfast, you feel more full over the course of the day?
You’re less apt to snack and you aren’t looking at the clock wondering when you’re next meal is?
Science backs this up. A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that women who ate a protein-packed breakfast had lower levels of food-craving-related brain activity, and increased levels of leptin, a hormone that tells you when you’re full. They also snacked less on foods high in calories at night.
This is just one of the many reasons why we’ve got high-quality proteins included in each breakfast during this challenge :-)
