You picked up this person who you felt sorry for and now drives you crazy!!

And because you felt sorry for them you even gave them a discount and to make things worse, every time you go to clean they nit-pick at what your are doing, how you are doing it and they never seem happy?
Then when you take a stand they back down. (I consider this passive aggressive BTW.)
Or they are aggressive right out the gate. They have unrealistic expectations, beyond what you would normally do even for your best client.
Either way it's time to DUMP them.
If you are not good a breaking up then I recommend giving them a significant price increase. So high that they drop you. Do it formally if you still are working out in the field, leave them a letter. If you are not out in the field working then shoot them an email and then follow up.
Be professional and state that due to the blah..blah...blah...you have no choice but to give out price increases effective on such and such a date.
Before you ask me...Yes, this is passive aggressive as well. (Can you tell that I grew up with a Psychologist :)
But, when you choose to do it this way it will prevent this client from going to ALL of social media and blasting you from Timbuktu and back.
And it will help to defuse the situation so that they hopefully will act like an adult and not give you a bad review.
