Hello Darlings!

This past weekend, I went to Romance GenreCon in Kansas City and had such a nice time! I loved getting to visit with some of my favorite authors and to reconnect with readers! Of course, there were quite a few new faces, and I loved that, too.

I do have one silly story. As many of you know, a lot of my covers have shirtless gentlemen on them. Part of this is for branding. If someone sees a paranormal romance book with a shirtless guy on the cover, they know the book is going to be at least a little bit spicy! I want to make sure that my readers know what they're getting themselves into. While my books do tend to skew sweet, they almost all contain 1-3 spicy scenes. I want to make sure people know. Not everyone likes spice, and that's totally valid!

That said, someone walked by my table this weekend and stuck her nose in the air a bit.

"There are a LOT of shirtless men," she said. I was a little confused at first and was like, "Yeah, that happens sometimes." Then she gave me the world's nastiest look and left!
