Hello darlings!

This is my last email for 2022 - you won't be hearing from me again until next year!

When I was a kid, I always thought it was absolutely crazy that adults would say things like, "this year really flew by."

Now that I'M the grownup, I think it's really true!

This year, I'm not setting any particular goals, but I am going to try to make some positive changes in my life.

One of the biggest is going to be not complaining about things or letting things that upset me take up space in my head. I want to be a lot more meaningful and thoughtful with how I spend my energy this year, so I'm going to be focusing a lot on positive thinking and not spending a lot of time with things that make me unhappy.

In 2023, you can also expect some great new books from me!

As Sophie Stern, you'll be able to read the next two Sweet Nightmares books, a couple of fun standalones, and a new alien series. I'm also launching a new owl shifters series called Owls of Shifter County. I hope you love that one!

As L.C. Mortimer, I've got a TON of YA zombie books coming out, so if you've got a teenage zombie fan in your house, make sure to check out that pen name and those books!
